Rainy Day Sweet & Smokey BBQ Ribs
Hey y’all!!!! I am sharing one of our favorite slow cooker summer recipes today! We call them ‘Rainy Day’ Ribs, cuz theres no need for a grill! These sweet & smoky ribs are made right in your slow cooker! But you don’t have to wait for a rainy day to make these insanely delicious ribs! Try them! You won’t believe how simple and delicious they are!
‘Rainy Day’ Sweet & Smokey BBQ Ribs
Ingredients
3 1/2 lbs Pork Loin Back Ribs
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
3 Tbsp hickory liquid smoke
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1 onion, sliced
1 1/2 cups of your favorite BBQ (homemade or store bought)
Directions
Spray the inside of a 5 or 6 quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Remove the inner skin from ribs. Cut ribs into 4 rib sections. Combine brown sugar, black pepper, salt, garlic and liquid smoke. Rub all over ribs. Put ribs in the bottom of the slow cooker. Top with onions. Pour vinegar over ribs. Cook on low for 6 – 8 hours or until ribs are tender. Carefully remove ribs from slow cooker. Drain and discard liquid from the slow cooker. Cover ribs with BBQ Sauce and place ribs back in slow cooker for 1 hour on low.
