3 Ingredient Slow Cooker Apple Sauce
Good morning! I am pretty psyched about today’s recipe! This was my first time making homemade apple sauce and I am a TOTAL CONVERT! I always buy my kids the ‘no sugar added’ apple sauce, but this was SO MUCH TASTIER!!! It was good warm, but we LOVED it cold. Cold applesauce is such a great snack for the kids when they have been playing outside and come in to cool off!
I got this recipe from my dear friend Michaela, at An Affair From The Heart. She was telling me how much her kids love it and I had to try it! This recipe has some cinnamon in it and I am excited to experiment with other apple sauce flavors as well! Maybe strawberry applesauce next! My 9 year old had so much fun helping me make this by peeling the apples! She thought it was super cool to be making her own. I think this would be a fun rainy day summer activity for kids that are old enough to peel! Oh and let me just tell you how AMAZING my house smelled while this was cooking away in the slow cooker!!!
