Zesty Crock-Pot BBQ Chicken
Happy Saturday!
We have been so busy this summer my kids have only gone swimming twice! Seriously!
Our weekly menus have been full of lots of quick and easy old favorites with a lot less time for recipe development. I miss trying a bunch of new things, but know this is how summer with the kiddos home rolls and I am enjoying my time with them.
One old favorite we have several times a month are BBQ stuffed baked potatoes, BBQ Nachos and BBQ Salads. It’s one of my favorite ‘cook once, eat two or three times’ meals.
I like to make my shredded bbq chicken in the crock pot while I am out and about so then when I get home I can shred it up and use it for Nachos, BBQ Chicken sandwiches, Salads or BBQ topped baked potatoes. So easy and good!
This is one of my favorite ways to make BBQ chicken in the crock pot with breasts. The chicken bouillon gives it such good flavor. I hope y’all love this as much as we do!
Ingredients
- 4 chicken breast
- 1.5 cups BBQ sauce
- 1/2 cup Italian dressing
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Chicken Bouillon Cubes, crushed
Instructions
Place chicken breasts in crock pot. ( I like to use the slow cooker liners for an easy clean up!)
Combine BBQ sauce, Italian dressing, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and chicken bouillon. Pour over chicken in slow cooker. Cook on high 4 hours or low 7 to 8 hours.
