Slow Cooker Philly Cheese
Good morning! Things have been a little more quiet than usual on the ol’ blog because we have had quite the exciting week over here. On Sunday, my oldest tried out for our local club volleyball team. It is super competitive and she has only played one year so we were really really excited to find out that she made the team! It took 3 days after tryouts before they called her to tell her she made it and OH MY GOSH those were some long days LOL! She has really fallen in love with volleyball and worked her tail off this year. I am so excited to see how she progresses in such a wonderful program! Her rec league coach (who we ABSOLUTELY LOVE!) made her the CUTEST volleyball shirt as a gift to congratulate her on making the team. How sweet was that?
Then on Tuesday, my youngest PULLED HIS 1st TOOTH at the kitchen table while we were eating dinner. (Gross!) It didn’t stop any of us from finishing our dinner, though. Including him 😉
The rest of the week has consisted of the oldest’s final rec league volleyball tournament, the end of soccer and the beginning of basketball and choir practice for a Christmas program. Also, yesterday was Uncle Bee’s Birthday! We celebrated at our favorite Mexican place. (Phil Sandovals for you locals!) Y’all, we are BUSY! SO BUSY!
So needless to say, I have been relying on our slow cooker more than EVER! When a reader raved about these Slow Cooker Philly Cheese Steak Sandwiches the other day on my *Daily Dinner Bell* post on my facebook page, I knew had to try my hand at them and we were SO pleased with how they turned out! So good, so flavorful and perfect for a busy weeknight!
