Orange & Mustard Glazed Pork Tenderloin
The other night, when we had those killer Beer Cheese Loaded Mashed Potatoes, I knew we had to have an entree bold enough to hold its own! This Pork Tenderloin definitely did the trick! The glaze is ADDICTIVE!!! My hubby is a little resistant to trying new flavors and was giving me the side eye when he walked in for dinner, and as soon as he tried it, he said, ‘NOW, THAT IS GOOD!’ Victory!!! I plan on experimenting a good bit with orange and mustard flavors this summer! Maybe a chicken marinade? Oh yes! Give this a try and serve it with some Beer Cheese Loaded Mashed Potatoes!!!
Orange & Mustard Glazed Pork Tenderloin
Ingredients
2 lb Pork Tenderloin
1 Tbsp oil
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
4 cloves of garlic, minced
1.5 cups orange juice
1.5 Tbsp prepared mustard (I used french’s)
1/4 cup heavy cream
Directions
Add oil to dutch oven over medium high heat. Sprinkle pork with salt and pepper. Brown well on all sides. Add garlic to pot and stir constantly for 1 minute. Deglaze the pan with orange juice and stir in mustard. Cover with lid and place in 350 degree oven for 1 hour or until internal temp reaches between 145 – 160 degrees. (We like it on the more done side) Glaze pork every 15 minutes with pan juices. Once done, remove pork from dutch oven and set aside to rest, covered. Put Dutch oven on stove over medium heat and cook sauce down until thickened, stirring every minute with a whisk. Once cooked down as much as possible without burning, stir in cream and serve over sliced tenderloin.
