Heath Bar Blondies
These are out of this world delicious!!!! You can easily double the recipe in a 13×9 pan. Just extend the cooking time by 5 minutes or so. Just be warned: THEY. ARE. ADDICTIVE.
Heath Bar Blondies
Ingredients
1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter
1 1/2 cups of all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cups dark brown sugar
1/2 cup white granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup Heath Bar milk chocolate toffee bits (found in the baking aisle)
Directions
Melt the butter in a medium, heavy-bottomed saucepan over medium heat; add both sugars and whisk constantly until combined and sugar is melted, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside to cool slightly for 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt in a medium bowl.
Next, in a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and vanilla extract until combined. Slowly drizzle in the butter and sugar while whisking constantly. Then add the flour and whisk until just incorporated. Do not over mix. Lastly, fold in the Heath bar bits. Pour mixture in a Pam sprayed 8×8 pyrex dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Allow to cool completely before slicing.
