Glazed Cinnamon Toast
In order to save money and not be wasteful, we make a valiant effort to use up everything we buy, especially when it comes to food. I can’t say this has always been the case, but over the years we have learned in what ways we were being wasteful, and how to avoid this. If I need half a bunch of celery for a recipe, I chop the other half and freeze it for the next time I need half a bunch of celery. The same goes for carrots, onions, bell pepper, ginger etc….. I don’t know about you, but it seems like I always have an extra hamburger or hotdog bun or other bread. When this happens I don’t toss them in the trash. I put them all together for a quick and easy weeknight dessert. Whenever I make this for Uncle Bee, he just thinks I am spoiling him, which I am, but also saving money in the process! Hope you enjoy!!!!
