No Bake Cookies & Cream Bars
Happy Monday! I have been keeping up with my ‘Make one homemade treat/dessert thing every week’ plan! (For those that are new here, I HATE baking and making desserts, but I am trying to break out of my comfort zone and do better!) My hubby and the kids are LOVING this by the way 😉
Last week, I found this awesome looking recipe for Cookies & Cream Bars that actually ended up NO BAKE and oh my gosh did they turn out delicious! If you like Oreo cookies or those Hershey Cookies & Cream bars, you are going to LOVE LOVE LOVE these!!!!
Ingredients
- 24 Oreos
- 4 Tbsp butter
- 3/4 cup white chocolate chips
- 6 oz Cream cheese, at room temperature
- 12 Oreos, roughly chopped
- 6 Oreos, roughly chopped
- 3/4 cups dark chocolate chips
Instructions
Place 24 oreos in a plastic baggy and smash them into crumbs with a rolling pin. Melt butter in the microwave and combine oreo crumbs with the butter and press into a 9 inch square pan that has been lined with aluminum foil or parchment paper. Set aside.
Melt the white chocolate in the microwave for 15 second increments, stirring in between until smooth.
Stir the softened cream cheese with the melted white chocolate until it forms a smooth mixture.
Next, fold in the 12 chopped up Oreos.
Spread the mixture over the oreo crust in the pan as evenly as possible. Set Aside.
Sprinkle 6 chopped oreos evenly over the top of the white chocolate mixture. Melt the dark chocolate in the microwave in 15 second increments, stirring in between until smooth. Drizzle over the top and then chill in the fridge for a couple of hours before cutting. ENJOY!
