World’s Best Steak Fajita Marinade
Steak fajitas are my favorite meal to serve during grillin’ season to a crowd, because, of course a ‘build your own’ fajitas spread is easy and fun, but this marinade makes them outrageously delicious…. I always get RAVE reviews and requests for the recipe!!! I have doubled and tripled this recipe for a crowd! Never any leftovers! This is also the recipe I use for the grilled steak I topped our favorite salad, Southwest Steak Salads with Cilantro Lime Buttermilk Dressing!
World’s Best Steak Fajita Marinade
Ingredients
Juice and zest of 1 orange
Juice and zest of 1 lime
3 TBSP soy sauce
3 TBSP worcestershire sauce
2 TBSP dijon mustard
2 TBSP white vinegar
2 TBSP brown sugar
6 cloves garlic, crushed or 2 TBSP minced garlic from a jar
1 packet taco seasoning (like the kind for tacos)
handful of fresh cilantro
1/2 cup oil
2 lbs Flank Steak
Juice and zest of 1 lime
3 TBSP soy sauce
3 TBSP worcestershire sauce
2 TBSP dijon mustard
2 TBSP white vinegar
2 TBSP brown sugar
6 cloves garlic, crushed or 2 TBSP minced garlic from a jar
1 packet taco seasoning (like the kind for tacos)
handful of fresh cilantro
1/2 cup oil
2 lbs Flank Steak
*if using a gas grill or an indoor grill, I add a TBSP of hickory flavored liquid smoke, not necessary for a charcoal grill
Directions
Combine all ingredients and pour over flank steak in a large bowl or ziplock bag. Marinate for at least 8 hours or overnight. Grill and enjoy with all your favorite fajita toppings!
