Southern Style Creamed Corn

Ingredients
- 2 (10 oz) bags of frozen corn kernels
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 Tbsp granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 cup whole milk
- 2 tbsp all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (the Green can is fine)
Instructions
In a skillet over medium heat, combine the corn, cream, salt, pepper, sugar, and butter.
Cook about 10 minutes, stirring every couple of minutes.
Whisk together the cold milk and flour then add it to the mixture.
Cook until thickened, stir every minute.
Remove from heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese. Serve hot.
