Slow Cooker Pot Roast
We loved this SUPER easy slow cooker pot roast! I couldn’t believe how simple and delicious it was! We served it with mashed potatoes & peas and everyone loved it!
Easy Slow Cooker Pot Roast
Ingredients
4 lb chuck roast
8 oz fresh mushrooms, sliced
8 oz baby carrots or 3 large carrots, chopped
1 cup onion, chopped
1 can cream of mushrooms soup
1 packet onion soup mix
Directions
Place roast in bottom of slow cooker. Top with mushrooms, onions, carrots. Sprinkle with onion soup mix and top with cream of mushroom soup. Give it a little stir. Cook on low for 8-10 hours. Add salt & pepper to taste. Serve over mashed potatoes, buttered egg noodles or rice
*FREEZER MEAL DIRECTIONS*
Place all ingredients in a gallon freezer bag. Label and date and add cooking instructions. Lay flat to freeze. Allow to thaw for 24 hours in the fridge before cooking. Pour ingredients into slow cooker. Cook on low for 8 -10 hours. Add salt & pepper to taste. Serve over mashed potatoes, buttered egg noodles or rice
