Red, White {chocolate} & Blue Trifles
Hello there! Everyone that knows me and even those of you that have been reading my blog for a while now, probably can vouch for the fact that I am no baker! I do not have the patience or concentration for it and to be honest, I am just not much of a sweets fan in general. I am, however, in a group where we have a monthly theme and each do a post with that theme. This has been super fun and definitely made me step outside of my comfort zone. The theme this month was red, white and blue and I immediately knew my something red and blue were going to be strawberries and blueberries. I searched the web for all things strawberry and blueberry until I came across these ADORABLE individual serving sized mason jar trifles. I love how cute they are and most of all, I love that they are NO BAKE. I was able to buy a pre-made angel food cake. Seriously. The hardest part of making this dessert was melting the white chocolate for the white chocolate sauce. Yes, it is really that simple. We made these on a Saturday and on Monday, when we finished off the last of them, they were still just as good as the first day, if not better! So this is an EXCELLENT and easy make-ahead dessert treat! We are definitely having this for our 4th of July Celebration!
