Uncle Bee’s ‘Famous’ Chocolate Chip Cookies
There is no question who the ‘cook’ is in our family, but if you ask any of our friends or family who the baker is, every one of them would say it’s ‘Uncle Bee’. He makes the best blondies and from scratch cheesecakes you have ever put in your mouth! Today, I am sharing what we feel in our opinion to be the best chocolate chip cookie recipe. It is actually the Ghirardelli chocolate chip cookie recipe. He refuses to use any chocolate chips in his cookies except for their brand. This is not a sponsored post. He is just serious about his chocolate chips 😉
Ingredients
- 11 1/2 oz semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
Heat oven to 375ºF.
Stir flour with baking soda and salt; set aside. In large mixing bowl, beat butter with sugar and brown sugar at medium speed until creamy and lightened in color. Add eggs and vanilla, one at a time. Mix on low speed until incorporated. Gradually blend dry mixture into creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by tablespoon onto pam sprayed cookie sheets. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown.
