Hot Roast Beef & Cheese Sandwiches (for a crowd!)
Hot Roast Beef & Cheese Sandwiches (For a Crowd) are the BEST roast beef sandwiches EVER! The secret is the easy mayo sauce with a hint of horse radish and spicy mustard.
My sister and her kiddos are coming up to visit at the end of the week! They are staying for a day or 2 and I am SO beyond excited!  While we will be having the full Thanksgiving spread on Thanksgiving, I know I need to have a few other meals ready to go for us because with 4 kiddos ages 10 and under in the house (and a brand new PUPPY!), well, we are gonna be busy and hungry 😉
Besides, as much as I love to cook, I don’t want to spend the entire time they are here, slaving away in the kitchen, and missing out on all the fun!  I decided to make up a bunch of sandwiches ahead of time that I can just pop in the oven when everyone is hungry.  We tried them out this weekend, because you don’t ever want to try something for the 1st time with company, even if it IS your sister 😉  They may be the best hot roast beef sandwiches I have ever had!  The secret is the easy mayo sauce with a hint of horse radish and spicy mustard.  I didn’t even know I liked horse radish.  Haha!
We will also have some regular ol’ ham & cheese sandwiches for the kiddos if they want something a little more simple 😉  When I make up the sandwiches, I wrap them individually in foil, then label them with a permanent marker, so that I know which is which.  Then when it comes time to bake them, I pull out the number I need of each, then toss them (still wrapped in foil) in the oven for 20 minutes.  Hot lunch or dinner, practically zero cleanup, and more time with my sweet niece and nephew 😉 This recipe makes 8 sandwiches, but feel free to double or triple!  They go fast!
Ingredients Instructions Combine the ingredients for the sauce. Spread a thin layer on the inside of the top and bottom buns. Put a slice of cheese on each bun and pile the roast beef high in between. Wrap them each in foil and label if you are doing another kind. ( I did ham and cheese as well) Bake right away or store in the fridge until needed! Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes, or store in the fridge until ready to bake. Enjoy!
