….that’s a wrap!
My daughter absolutely LOVES wraps! She has them at least 4 days a week for her school lunch. She loves how they taste and I love that you can cram lots of veggies in there! Over the years we have come up with lots of different wrap ideas that utilize dinner leftovers (leftover veggies, chicken, beef, rice, etc).
The ONLY downside to an overstuffed wrap, is they can get a LITTLE bit messy 😉
We use the Wet Ones® Singles for her lunch box because they are SO easy to just toss in there! She also wipes out her lunch box with it after she is finished eating which makes clean up a lot easier for me! Another tip: If the recipe calls for a dressing or a sauce, I usually leave it off and pack it in a separate container for dipping to keep the wrap from being soggy.
I make her wraps when we get finished eating dinner. Depending on what we have on hand, I will sometimes make 2 or 3 days worth at a time. A lot of times I make them for my own lunches just so I can grab and go, and because they are delish 😉
Here are some of our favorite combinations. I hope this gives you some new recipe ideas to try!
