Parmesan Garlic Green Beans
These green beans are quickly becoming a family favorite. They make a great side dish for just about anything. Don’t skimp on the shredded Parmesan because that REALLY makes them!
Parmesan Garlic Green Beans
Ingredients
24 oz frozen green beans (about 5 cups)
1/4 cup butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups chicken broth
salt & pepper
shredded Parmesan cheese
Directions
Bring a large pot of water to boil and add green beans. Boil for 10 minutes, drain. Meanwhile, melt butter in a skillet and saute garlic for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Add green beans to skillet and saute for 2 minutes. Add the chicken broth. Bring to a slight boil and cook until all liquid is cooked out. Keep stirring occasionally to keep them from burning. After liquid is cooked out, add salt & pepper to taste then Parmesan cheese liberally and serve.
